How to make one

  2. 02

    Style the highlight

Solid, gradient, hatched or dotted fills, outlines and glowing animated borders, with the rest of the map dimmed or kept.

  3. 03

    Choose the reveal

Show them all at once or one after another, with flags, labels and a title card that explain what the viewer is looking at.

  4. 04

    Export the video

MP4 in 16:9, 9:16, square or 4:5, ready for YouTube, Reels, the news or a lesson.

FAQ

Questions

How do I highlight a country on a map in a video?
Open the studio, select the country (or ask the AI), choose a fill and border style, set when it appears, and export an MP4. The Where in the World? template does this with a globe fly-in.
Can I highlight states or provinces, not just countries?
Yes. States, provinces and other first-level regions are available for countries around the world, as well as US states and counties.
Can the countries appear one by one?
Yes. Regions can be revealed in order, each with its own timing, label or flag.
Where do the borders come from?
From open boundary datasets (Natural Earth and OpenStreetMap). Disputed borders follow those sources; check them for sensitive topics.
Is it free?
You can build, preview and export 3 videos a month at 720p with a small badge for free. Paid plans add HD export without the badge, all skins and data maps.
